ASO Author Reflections: Anastomotic Complications are More Prevalent in Laparoscopic Total Gastrectomy than in Open Total Gastrectomy

腹腔鏡手術の発展により、胃切除術も腹腔鏡で行われるようになり、広く普及したが、安全性は証明されていなかった。胃全摘は技術的にも難度が高く、特に吻合には技術を要する。
本研究では吻合不全は腹腔鏡手術で高いという結果となった。RCTの結果は確かに必要だが、安全に手術を行うためにも新たなデバイスや技術、トレーニング方法の確立が重要だといえる。
